Perez Hilton is reporting, via Danny Wood, that the rumoured NKOTB reunion is not happening. Oh, sigh.
On his post was this picture, that I just had to share with you.
Now. Take a moment to truly drink this in. These boys look ridiculous. Jordan, who, like,
tewtally had my heart in junior high (seriously, I still have the cheap bracelet made out of thread that says "I (heart) Jordan" I got at their Montreal concert), looks like a bag full of crushed arseholes.
I know. I doubt most of us were at the height of haute couture in mid 90s. But for the life of me, I can't figure out their appeal. The hair is SO BIG. Okay, maybe Joey is kinda cute, but he really reminds me of my junior high best friends little brother, and that way creeps me out.
I feel that there will one day, that they will announce an honest-to-goodness reunion tour. So, in preparation of that, what are, like, your best NKOTB memories?

trying to master the dance moves!! everything from the Hangin' Tough one arm in the air groove, to the genius that is The Right Stuff. lol - oh and trying and failing to reach Jordan's falsetto! (seriously - even with 9 year old girl voices)
Different sources are still reporting the reunion is happening. I'm pretty sure it wouldn't be a problem if they didn't include Danny - he was the loser.
v true. I don't know anyone who had Danny as their favourite. Mine was Jonathan, and he's gone all weird. He was a hermit for a while, lived in the woods. Had some kind of social anxiety disorder, which I can't figure out how he managed while being a frigging New Kid.
I got a puzzle. Yes, a puzzle, of NKOTB, for Christmas when I was in grade 6. I was so excited. I don't think I ever got it all put together though. I had all the requisite t-shirts, cassettes, etc. I now am the proud owner of the Step by Step CD, found for a dollar.
I have been transferring home movies from VHS to DVD for my parents for a couple of weeks now and last week I came across a video tape of Christmas morning from 1991 or 1992. Anyway, in this video I receive NKOTB gum and am so ecstatic that it looked like I may have actually been speaking in tongues.
I also have a NKOTB doll of Donny.. Looking at it now, I kind of have to question my love for him... I mean, the doll has a rat tail.
